Georgian External Trade Amounts to $12.83 billion, 2019

Georgia’s external trade turnover amounted to $12.83 billion in 2019, an increase of 2.7% compared to last year, shows the data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

The value of exports went up 12.4%  and reached $3.77 billion, while imports decreased 0.8%, amounting to $9.06 billion.

The trade deficit of Georgia in 2019 amounted to $5.29 billion, a 41.2% of total trade turnover.

In December 2019 the value of exports was $390.4 million, while imports amounted to $927 million.
