Georgian Sportsman Dies in Car Accident in France

A 28-year-old Georgian rugby player died in a road accident in France. Beka Burdiashvili was a player of the French 'Graulhet'. Reportedly, he was traveling to another match with "Lavor" on Sunday morning when the tragic accident occurred. 

As the newspaper La Depeche.fr reports, the young man lost control of the wheel and the car crashed. He died on the spot. 

The game was canceled due to the incident.

French media outlets offered condolences to the family and the team of the deceased sportsman. A statement was also issued by the club itself.
