Adjara Tourism Products Introduced in Vilnius and Riga
The Department of Tourism of Adjara presented the region at the Vilnius International Tourism Exhibition. Adjara attracted the special attention of visitors for its ecotourism routes and gastronomy.
Visitors were presented the current tourism trends and travel opportunities in Adjara and Georgia while being served with Georgian wine, cheese and sweets.
The Vilnius International Tourism Fair was attended by more than 295,000 visitors this year. Levan Ghvachliani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Georgia, stood by the Adjara stand.
The Department of Tourism of Adjara also promoted the tourism opportunities of the region at an international tourism exhibition in Riga.
In recent years, the Department of Tourism of Adjara has been conducting active advertising campaigns in the Baltic countries, alongside presenting regional tourism opportunities at a number of exhibitions. The number of international travellers from these countries to Adjara is already on the rise.
