Traffic Restricted on Gudauri-Kobi Road

The Gudauri-Kobi road section belonging to the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi route, which connects Georgia to Russia, is temporarily closed to all vehicles.

The National Environmental Agency has reported that traffic is currently prohibited due to the threat of avalanches.

In the past week, the temperature fell in Georgia. However, over the next few days, the weather forecast promises at least partly sunny days even in the mountainous regions of Georgia, implying that the Gudauri-Kobi road will not be closed for long.
