Construction of 'Dream City' Launches in Batumi
The construction of 'Dream City' in Georgia's seaside city of Batumi officially launched on February 16.
"A residential complex will be built on the territory of 'Dream City,' which will create decent living conditions for the local population," Batumi City Hall reports.
The large-scale social project will be financed from the budget of the Adjara Autonomous Republic. Its total cost is 38.7 million GEL.
The construction is expected to be completed within 17 months.
Three 12-floor blocks of apartments will be built within the framework of the project, while the next stage of construction involves the arrangement of a school, kindergarten and playgrounds.
The opening ceremony of the project was attended by Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia and representatives of the Government of Adjara.
