Georgia Celebrates Mother’s Day

Georgia marks Mother's Day on March 3. It is a public holiday, as the whole country celebrates this special relationship between a mother and her children, bringing warmth and love to all. 

It was established as an official holiday by the country's first President, Zviad Gamsakhurdia, in 1991 and has been celebrated every year since.

It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, however, in Georgia, it is always celebrated on March 3.
