25 Persons Examined due to Contact with Fourth Infected Patient

Georgia’s Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze announced today that 25 persons had been in contact with the fourth individual diagnosed with coronavirus. All of them have already been identified and are awaiting thorough examinations.

“The Ministry of Health refrains from recommendations on stopping flights, as we are very confident that we can control the situation. This is a very important challenge for the healthcare sector, which is doing extremely well," Tikaradze said. 

Georgia has confirmed its fourth case of Covid-19. The infected person is a Georgian citizen who traveled to Italy and reentered Georgia on Sunday. 

Two out of four Georgian citizens who tested positive for the pneumonia-like virus visited Italy, while two others traveled to Iran.
