EU4Youth Employment Fair Opens Career Opportunities for Young Georgian Job Seekers
Hundreds of young job seekers attended the Annual Employment Fair in Tbilisi on 28 February, which was organized as part of the EU4Youth project.
At the event, representatives of more than 70 leading companies presented information on 700 vacancies. The purpose of the Job Fair was to allow organizations to meet potential employees in an informal setting. The Job Fair also gave job seekers the opportunity to learn more about potential employers and the opportunities available.
The Job Fair was organized by HRhub, in partnership with World Vision Georgia, the Georgian Farmers’ Association and the Anica Association, as part of the EU4Youth – SAY YES Skills for Jobs EU4Youth - SAY YES Skills for Jobs project, which is funded by the European Union.
The project aims to contribute to jobs and self-employment among young women and men aged between 15 and 35 in Armenia and Georgia, particularly those with fewer opportunities and from vulnerable groups, by carrying out a series of activities focused on education and training, advocacy and youth work. It is implemented by World Vision.
