Center for Disease Control: Tips for Traveling Abroad during COVID-19 Outbreak
The National Center for Disease Control and Public Health has published new recommendations for those who wish to travel abroad and those who have recently returned from high-risk countries.
The center's main recommendation is to refrain from travelling (especially in/to high-risk countries) unless absolutely necessary.
If the person still intends to travel abroad, the following recommendations should be considered:
“Do not have unprotected and close contact with wild and / or farm animals and birds;
Do not eat unhealthy meat dishes;
Avoid being in crowded places;
Wash your hands often with soap and water or a solution containing alcohol;
Use a medical mask if you show symptoms;
When coughing or sneezing, hold a handkerchief on your face;
Contact your doctor immediately if you feel unwell.
You must be in solitary confinement for 14 days after leaving the area you are in”, reads the recommendation.
