The Guardian: Experimental Drug against COVID-19 Shows Positive Outcome

Hopes are rising over an experimental drug's effectiveness against coronavirus, as it has shown a positive outcome, The Guardian reports.

The first US patient, a 35-year-old man in Washington, recovered, however, full trials are needed to assess the drug’s full effectivity.

Final findings on the remedy's effectiveness will be published in the coming months.

Representatives of the American biotechnology company Gilead Sciences note that the above has accelerated manufacturing of the drug to increase its supplies.
