Georgia: Number of Coronavirus Cases Increases to 33

The number of cases of coronavirus has increased to 33 in Georgia. The information is published on a special website created by the government: stopcov.ge.

There are 427 people in quarantine and 73 under supervision at hospitals throughout the country.

“These patients are middle-aged persons, one male and two female. All three were in contact with foreigners from high-risk countries. We still maintain a hopeful situation when no patient has been infected without knowing the source of infection”, Tengiz Tsertsvadze, Director General of Infections Hospital, told reporters.

He added that three new patients have no connection with previous patients.
