Wizz Air posted a statement on their Facebook page regarding the cancellations: “Passengers with bookings affected by these cancellations are informed at the earliest possible date and offered a full refund. Rebooking for an alternative route is only possible if there is no airport lockdown or air travel restriction in the given country”.
Likewise, flights will also be barred between Georgia and Turkey from March 20. Free movement between the countries' land border will also be provisionally constrained at the Sarpi customs checkpoint. Though other crossing points such as Vale and Kartsakhi will be accessible.
