Violators of Quarantine Rules to be Fined: Individuals GEL 3000, Legal Entities - GEL 15000

The Legal Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia has prepared legislative changes in quarantine and self-isolation rules, which will be registered by the end of the month.

The violation of the quarantine rules will result in fining individuals GEL 3 000, while legal entities will be fined GEL 15 000.

In addition, the draft law specifies that if the quarantine rules are violated by a person who has already been subjected to an administrative penalty for the same action, they will be sentenced to house arrest from 6 months to 1 year.
