First Batch of 'Made in Georgia' Face Masks to Be Ready Tomorrow

Due to a shortage on the market, production of face masks has started in Georgia.

The first company to produce medical face masks in the country was the Adjara Textile Garment Factory, which offered the Ministry of Economy 500,000 masks free of charge.

The company representatives note that the first batch of products will be ready tomorrow and will be supplied to the Ministry of Economy.

"The state will purchase the first batch of  multiple-use face masks produced in Georgia and will provide the necessary supply to the population," Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, stated today.
