Georgia: 3 New Patients Infected with Coronavirus are Members of One Family
"The three new patients infected with coronavirus are members of one family and their travel history relates to the United States," the Minister of Health of Georgia Ekaterine Tikaradze stated today.
The Minister added that reportedly, a new case of coronavirus has been recorded in Georgia's seaside Adjara region.
“There are three new cases of non-European etymology. This is a family that has traveled to the United States. This is a new cluster. All individuals in contact with this family have been identified and are being monitored for further action. We also have a new alleged fourth case in Adjara and at the end of the day the Adjara Minister of Health will tell you exact information about this patient's health condition as well,” she said.
The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached 43 in Georgia.
Currently, there are 1575 people in quarantine and 275 under supervision at hospitals throughout the country.
One out of 43 patients has recovered and been discharged from the Infections Hospital. The citizen remains in self-isolation.
