Georgia to Receive Rapid Coronavirus Tests Next Week

"Georgia will receive rapid coronavirus diagnostic tests next week," Ekaterine Tikaradze, Minister of Health of Georgia, said at a briefing today. 

The country will get tests from China and South Korea.

“We will receive 1000 tests as a gift from the Republic of China early next week. It will allow our specialists to quickly test those who have suspicious symptoms. 

"Negotiations with the state of Korea are successfully underway, and we expect an additional 200,000 tests,” the Minister noted. 

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached 43 in Georgia.
