Tengiz Tsertsvadze: What Trump Said Yesterday, We've Been Doing 1.5 Months

‘What Trump said yesterday we've been doing for a month-and-a-half, that’s why we had a little celebration at the workplace’, said Tengiz Tsertsvadze the director of Tbilisi Infections Hospital.

“An interesting thing happened: yesterday French recommendations were published where they advocated ‘Plaquenil’ (Hydroxychloroquine) as the best form to battle novel coronavirus. An even more important thing occurred, when President Trump, we all know his extravagant approach, addressed the nation and stated that he will not be waiting for the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) to approve the Plaquenil drug to be used on the public. Trump stated that he will continue and commence with the recovery of patients with this drug. This was very important for us, we even had a little celebration, because what Trump said yesterday we’ve been doing for a month-and-a-half.”

The US President stated that in order to battle the COVID-19, the United States will make an experimental malaria drug available to be tested.
