National Bank of Georgia: We Are Fully Prepared to Tackle COVID-19
Georgia’s financial sector is all set to meet the new coronavirus challenge through providing a full range of services, says the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).
“In the context of the current restrictions, the financial sector of Georgia continues to provide a myriad of services, including continuous supply of cash, loan and deposit servises. Self-service payment kiosks and ATMs continue to work without any hindrance. We also have highly effective remote services. These services will not be limited even if a state of emergency is declared in the country", reads the NBG statement.
The NBG calls on citizens to use online services wherever possible and avoid leaving home, while advising banks, micro financing organizations and currency exchange facilities to limit the number of employees and prevent queues forming at their offices.
