Marina Ezugbaia: We Have Three Serious Cases

The medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Hospital, Marina Ezugbaia, has said that 8 coronavirus tests came back negative today. Ezugbaia also stated that they are waiting for 6 more results to come in. The doctor also talked about the country’s most serious coronavirus cases.

“At this point, we have three patients in a serious condition: two of which are relatively elderly ladies with pre-existing medical conditions. Speaking from the progressing point of view, both are thought to be serious. We have one more serious patient, middle-aged, who has diabetes and pneumonia. We have started the process of treatment. At the moment, the situation is stable,” said Ezugbaia.

Georgia has 54 confirmed coronavirus cases. 3 have recovered. The third patient to recover left the hospital on Sunday afternoon.
