Angela Merkel’s First Coronavirus Test Result is Negative

German Chancellor Angela Merkel's first coronavirus test result has come back negative, politico.com reports

"Merkel's first coronavirus test came back negative, her spokesperson said on Monday," reads the article by Judith Mischke.

Further tests will be carried out in the next few days, as a single negative test result does not necessarily mean a person is not carrying the virus.

German Chancellor has been placed in quarantine and is currently working from home in self-isolation, after the doctor who gave her a vaccine against pneumococcal infection on Friday tested positive for COVID-19.
