Number of Coronavirus Cases Increases to 77 in Georgia

The total number of persons infected with coronavirus has increased to 77 in Georgia. The information has been posted on the special website created by the government, stopcov.ge.

4055 people are in quarantine and 252 are under examination in hospitals.

10 out of 77 people have recovered from COVID-19. 

Today, a pregnant woman has been transferred to Tbilisi hospital from the quarantined Bolnisi municipality as she has tested positive for the new coronavirus.

Doctors say that this is the first case in Georgia of a pregnant woman contracting the illness and that the hospital is fully-equipped to provide her with the necessary care.
