Tbilisi Mayor: City Hall to Deliver Food to Over Thousand Families

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced today that around a thousand families will receive voluntarily collected food. 

Volunteers will distribute food collected in the sports hall on Beliashvili Street to elderly persons and socially vulnerable families.

“Yesterday, we had the first event here with ‘Archi’ company, which started delivering food to people who are at higher risk amid the deadly pandemic. We must do everything to ensure their well-being. Today, Wissol Company also expressed its wish to deliver packaged products to over 1000 families. Companies, board members, volunteers- everyone is involved”, Kaladze said.

Kaladze also added that food shall be distributed across all ten districts of Tbilisi, and that City Hall has all due information concerning those in need.
