Armenia Reports First Death from COVID-19

On Thursday, a 72-year-old woman diagnosed with the coronavirus died in Armenia, reports the Health Ministry's spokeswoman, making it the country's first fatal case of the infection.

Armenia has the highest number of coronavirus cases in the South Caucasus region, having reported 290 coronavirus cases at the time of writing. Azerbaijan has 122 and 3 deaths, Georgia has 79 and 0 deaths.
