Dapna Company Donates GEL 300,000 to Fight COVID-19

‘Dapna’ trading company and its subsidiary brand ’Chveni Supra’ have contributed GEL 300,000 to the #StopCoV fund set up to fight the new coronavirus, as part of their civic responsibility.

The monetary contribution will be directed at fighting the current pandemic through funding state-initiated events.

“The event is a small gesture by which our company wants to express solidarity with society as a whole. However, in order to eventually defeat the pandemic, the social responsibility of each individual is crucial", reads the company's official statement.

‘Dapna’ continues to operate in the market pursuant to the recommendations issued by the National Center for Disease Control. The company maintains close communication with various government agencies and ensures the supply and sale of essential foodstuffs in the country.

In order to effectively curb the spread of the illness, a platform was created at the instruction of the Prime Minister, within the framework of which all companies, as well as citizens, will be able to make monetary contribution to the joint cause.
