Body of Missing Dutch Tourist Found in Kutaisi

After 17 days of search, Emergency Department Service rescuers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have found the body of a Dutch tourist in Kutaisi.  

Friends of the 23-year –old Siem Wigger reported to the police on March 7 that the tourist had left a café in Kutaisi after they had been drinking alcohol and they had not since seen him. On March 10, the Emergency Department Service joined the search for the tourist.

The MIA has reported that the search process was continuous, and divers and a drone were involved in an effort to find the tourist.

It is still unclear what has happened to the tourist when he left the restaurant on the night of March 7.
