Four Patients Infected with COVID-19 in Serious Condition

"Four patients infected with coronavirus are in a serious condition," Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, told reporters on Saturday.

She said that 33 people are under examination in the Infections Hospital, while four of them are in a serious condition, including two in critical. One of them is an elderly woman.

She added that 14 patients have already recovered and been discharged from hospital.

The total number of persons infected with coronavirus has increased to 85 in Georgia. 

4641 people are in quarantine and 239 are under examination in hospitals.

No fatalities have been reported so far.
