CENN: Switch off Lights for Earth Hour on March 28
Today, on March 28, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM Tbilisi time, the world celebrates “Earth Hour.”
First celebrated in 2007, now it is the biggest campaign for environmental protection in the world. During Earth Hour, millions of people around the globe switch off their lights and electronic devices in support of nature and our planet. 180+ countries of the world are involved in this symbolic initiative.
This year, due to the spread of COVID-19 and the crisis it caused in the world, CENN has joined the Earth Hour campaign remotely. The Georgian NGO urges everyone to join the campaign.
“We believe that small actions can have a big positive influence on nature. Act now and switch it off! #ForEarth,” says the CENN team.
“Through this simple act, we show that we want to live in a healthy environment. A stable climate is crucial for our life. Let’s unite to stop the process of losing our mother nature.”
Switch off your lights for one hour from 8:30 to 9:30 PM and show your support for our planet!
