Doctor: 18 People, Including Two Children, Recovered from COVID-19

18 people, including two children, have recovered from COVID-19 in Georgia, Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, told reporters on Sunday.

"18 people infected with the new coronavirus have recovered in Georgia so far. Two of these are children. There were 5 children placed in our clinic, while two out of them have recovered. One child has already left the clinic. Their health is not in danger,” she said.

The number of coronavirus cases has increased in Georgia. The country now has 90 people in hospitals who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Currently, there are 4717 individuals quarantined, 268 - under examination in hospitals, while 18 patients have recovered from the illness.
