5th Georgian Citizen Dies of Coronavirus Abroad

The 5th citizen of Georgia has died of coronavirus abroad.

Paata Imnadze, Deputy Head of the National Center for Disease Control, confirmed the death of a Georgian citizen infected with coronavirus in New York. 

“Unfortunately, another Georgian citizen died abroad. The victim is a 64-year-old man living in New York," he said, adding that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy are in touch with the family.

Reportedly, the patient had another chronic disease together with COVID-19.
