Gov't Allocates GEL 2 billion to Support the Country's Economy

The Georgian Government has decided to allocate GEL 2 billion to support the country's economy amid the crisis related to the spread of the new coronavirus. 

Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia spoke about the main directions of the plan, aimed at supporting the economy, at today's session of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council.

The head of the government also noted that 351 million GEL has already been mobilized in the crisis budget for measures to fight the coronavirus.
