Number of Coronavirus Cases in Georgia Hits 130

The number of cases of coronavirus infection has increased to 130 in Georgia, the latest data published on government-run special website stopcov.ge shows.

The medical director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital, Marina Ezugbaia, said a 10-year-old from Batumi is among the patients who have tested positive for COVID-19.

The infected child was transferred to Tbilisi Infections Hospital from Batumi.

There are 5437 people in quarantine and 260 under examination in hospitals.

23 out of 130 people have already recovered from the illness.

No fatalities have been recorded so far.
