CENN Announces Grant Competitions to Fight COVID-19

Within the framework of EU-supported ENPARD projects, ‘Keda Leader’ and ‘Embrace Tsalka’, CENN is launching grant competitions in Keda and Tsalka municipalities as part of the fight against the coronavirus.

Grant competitions are implemented in collaboration with the Institute of Democracy (IoD), Keda Local Development Group (LAG), Georgian Farmers Association and Tsalka Local Development Group.

The aim of the competitions termed ‘New Challenges - New Opportunities’ is to respond to the new challenges posed by the spread of COVID-19 in Georgia.

The grant competitions will support initiatives that focus on the following areas: promoting online formal and non-formal education; increasing peoples’ awareness concerning the coronavirus and preventative measures against it; promoting the involvement of vulnerable groups into public life; improving access to services and supporting capacity-building of health care professionals.

Applications can be submitted by the legal entities under public or private law, civil society representatives (including initiative groups), cooperatives and local self-government or government bodies.
