Economy Minister Urges Companies to Maximize Protection of their Employees
"The businesses which gradually show guarantees that they are complying with the rules set by the Ministry of Health, of course, will be permitted to continue operation," Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, said while discussing the issue of online sales after the session of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council.
The Minister urged companies to ensure the maximum safety of their employees amid coronavirus fears.
"I would like everyone to maximize the protection of their employees with personal protective equipment, as well as to comply with all other recommendations and instructions, including mandatory thermo-screening. Of course, we strongly urge all entities to fulfill this obligation.
"To businesses, the activities of which are temporarily suspended today, I would like to say that everyone who guarantees that they will adhere to the rules of the Ministry of Health, will be allowed to work in future. But first, we need to make sure that it is absolutely safe. This is our priority,” she noted.
