Georgian Schoolchildren in the US Return to Homeland
As a result of cooperation between the governments of Georgia and the United States, 79 Georgian school pupils who were in the US have returned to their home country.
A flight from the United States to Doha took place on 10 April. The flight was operated by the American side. The transportation of the 79 children from Doha to Georgia was ensured by the Government of Georgia.
Furthermore, 35 minors living in Armenia were also returned to their homeland via the same flight.
They left for Armenia from Tbilisi International Airport.
In accordance with the established rules, Georgian schoolchildren were taken to quarantine spaces arranged in Tbilisi and Kakheti, where they will be in isolation for 2 weeks and then will return to their families.
