Georgia Receives 20,000 High-quality Korean PCR Tests

Georgia’s Ministry of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs received 20 000 high-quality PRC tests for the new coronavirus from South Korea.

Giorgi Tsotskolauri, Deputy Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia and Alexander Khvtisiashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, attended the arrival of tests from Korea at the Tbilisi International Airport.

The tests were bought and transported with support of Bank of Georgia in close cooperation with the Georgian Embassy in South Korea.

PCR Tests are used to directly detect the presence of an antigen, rather than the presence of the body’s immune response, or antibodies.
