4th Coronavirus Death Reported in Georgia

Another patient has died of COVID-19 in Georgia. This is the fourth coronavirus-related death in the country. 

The data has been updated on the government-run special website stopcov.ge.

The patient was being treated at the Batumi clinic 'Medalfa' from April 8 and was from the Kobuleti cluster. 

Reportedly, the victim was over 70 years old and had other chronic illnesses along with coronavirus. 

The number of cases of coronavirus infection in Georgia has increased by 3, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 388.

The number of people who have recovered from the illness has also increased by 2 to reach 86. 

There are currently 4971 people in quarantine and 519 under examination in hospitals. 

In addition, 3 citizens of Georgia have been transferred from abroad for medical treatment.
