Six Arrested for Violating State of Emergency Rules in Tbilisi

Six persons were arrested in the Varketili district of Tbilisi for violating the state of emergency regulations and disobedience to police.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia said that the citizens were detained for violating the decree issued by the President of Georgia.

Reportedly, a group of citizens was celebrating Easter in Varketili, when the police gave them a verbal warning. The citizens did not obey and acted aggressively, which resulted in their detention under Articles 353 and 173 of the Administrative Code of Georgia.  

The video footage was spread on social media.
