Ban on Driving Private Vehicles Extended until April 27

The ban on driving private vehicles across the country will be extended until April 27. Advisor to the Prime Minister Irakli Chikovani made the corresponding statement at a briefing held at the governmental administration today. 

"The ban on traffic has been extended until Monday, April 27. We understand that these are challenging times for our citizens, however, these restrictions are necessary to prevent the risk of spreading the new coronavirus," he said. 

As a part of the State of Emergency, it was completely forbidden to drive a car in the country from 17 to 21 April, however, this restriction will remain in force for one more week.
