Restrictions on Air Traffic Extended until May 22

Restrictions on air traffic have been extended until May 22, the Civil Aviation Agency reports. 

"The restriction on regular air traffic has been extended to May 22, 2020. The Civil Aviation Agency has already notified the airlines that operate regular flights to Georgia.

"The decision on the restoration of regular air traffic will be made in accordance with the situation in terms of coronavirus spread worldwide and in Georgia. The recommendations of the health agencies are taken into account. Due to the current situation, we urge citizens to refrain from purchasing flight tickets until the date of the return of regular air traffic is announced through official sources," reads the official statement released by the Civil Aviation Agency.
