2021: General Pensions Will Increase by 20 GEL, by 25 for over 70s

In 2021, pensions will be increased to all pensioners by 20 GEL and to those over 70 years of age by 25 GEL, Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia announced while presenting the anti-crisis economic plan today.

The head of government noted that the increase will be based on the inflation rate.

"We have decided to increase all pensions by no less than the inflation rate. This is critically important for the social stability of the country," he emphasized.
