COVID-19: Tetritskaro Municipal Center Closes for Quarantine

The State Representative of Kvemo Kartli, Shota Rekhviashvili, today announced the shutting down of the administrative center of Tetritskaro municipality, the city of Tetritskaro, due to 12 confirmed cases of the coronavirus infection.

“In total, There are 19 confirmed cases of the infection in Tetritskaro Municipality, 12 in the city of Tetritskaro only. As for the other villages, we do not see the need to shut them down at this time”, Rekhviashvili said. 

The city of Tetritskaro’s hospital has also been quarantined after the nurse was diagnosed with COVID-19. The source of the infection is yet unknown.
