Wine Library
Founded by those deeply inspired by 80 centuries of winemaking, Wine Library has been on the market for two years, boasting two shops and a third in the works, and offering 800 types of wine from 200 different winemakers. Wine Library was the first Georgian company in its field to offer online sales during the pandemic. “You can choose wine, purchase it, and get it delivered on our page, but we also suggest many interesting ideas to help people unite over wine even in these times of self-isolation. The platform helps small factories to keep functioning and helps the country’s economy develop and grow,” said Marketing Manager Mariam Chikovani.
#TBCforYou
Within the scope of the program #TBCforYou, and with the involvement of TBC employees, 100 high-schoolers living in Georgia’s regions will be given laptops. Students were chosen from vulnerable groups, the families of whom do not own personal computers and do not have access to the internet, meaning their education is being impeded at times when everything has moved online. The generous project also includes internet fee coverage every month until the school year ends.
Davit Mizandari
Georgian entrepreneur Davit Mizandari is creating re-usable face masks that are electronic and protect from viral infections. He connected methods of air filtration/sterilization that have been used successfully in other apparatus. The first mask took him 48 hours to build and has a filter and UV sterilizer. Future additional parts are being shipped to Georgia now. The Georgian entrepreneur has high hopes that he will soon complete the first prototype of this concept face mask.
‘Elixir’
Innovation Lab has a focus on international high-standards for its products, running tests in the central laboratory of hygiene in the Robert Koch Institute. Their ‘Elixir’ was recently approved for use as a COVID-19 disinfectant. The Koch Institute report, showing that Elixir kills COVID-19, can be found on the company’s website. “Due to the pandemic, we have increased the output from 4 to 20 tons, 24/7,” co-founder Giorgi Zviadadze said.
Museum of Recipes
Mako Kavtaradze, the creator of SPY RECIPE, with 100,000 GEL funding from Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency, opened the Museum of Recipes in 2018. The mission: to preserve recipes and their stories for future generations, passing them on as a value of history and culture. Due to the economic situation caused by the global pandemic, the Museum of Recipes is up for sale. This small business with big potential needs to survive, and the founder sees that possibility if it is put in the hands of another owner with a stronger economic standing.

The company’s plans include establishing and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits, raising people’s awareness of health, and environmental protection.
