Starlink Satellites Will be Visible Above Georgia Tonight 

The Starlink satellites will appear in a line crossing the night sky in Georgia tonight, 21:07 p.m.

Starlink is a satellite network that is being constructed by the private spaceflight company SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk.

On April 22, Musk’s SpaceX successfully launched 60 satellites into Earth’s Orbit, in an attempt to provide low-cost internet to remote locations. Each Starlink satellite weighs 500 lbs. (227 kilograms).

Today the satellites will bring a light show like no other to Georgia’s night sky, and shall be visible without specialist equipment.
