Number of COVID-19 Cases Increases by 6, 168 Recover

In the past 24 hours, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Georgia has increased by 6, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 517, the government-run website stopcov.ge reports. 

5153 people are being kept in a 14-day mandatory quarantine and 549 are under observation in hospitals.

Georgia has reported more recoveries from COVID-19. The latest reports claim that in total 168 patients have recovered.

To date, 517 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the country, while 168 patients have recovered and 6 have died.

The above means that there are 343 active cases in Georgia, i.e. people who have been diagnosed with the virus and are currently being treated.

Georgia has separate data of Georgian citizens brought from abroad for medical treatment, and the number stands at 3.
