EFES Georgia will Provide Rapid Tests Worth GEL 40,000 to the State
EFES Georgia, Natakhtari Producer, within the scope of its corporate social responsibility, handed over rapid tests (SARS-CoV-2) with the total value of GEL 40,000 to the government for preventive measures.
EFES Georgia continues to allocate funding according to the needs and takes part in fighting COVID 19 as before. “Initially we were assisting the most vulnerable groups; now the necessity for fast detection of the virus emerged and we are trying to make our contribution in this regard as well,” – explained Nikoloz Kundzakishvili, Corporate Affairs Director of EFES Georgia.
Overall, EFES Georgia is going to spend over GEL 200 thousand under its CSR for supporting anti – coronavirus programs.
Company EFES Georgia allocated financial assistance for STOPCOV Fund in the amount of GEL 50,000 and provided a 2-months supply of disinfectant to the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center. In addition, Natakhtari Fund is supporting beneficiaries (adolescents lacking care) according to their individual needs and supports them with psychologists consultations, apartment rent, essential medicines, resources required for distance learning. The company awarded a cash allowance to people who lost their jobs. Moreover, the Company in cooperation with the Georgian Bartenders Association, its partner organization, provided financial assistance to the bartenders. Around 500 bartenders, members of the Association, who are left unemployed, received food gift cards.
EFES Georgia also identified the most vulnerable groups and decided to delight them with the lemonade sent through various organizations and funds. These groups were represented by people over 70, socially unprotected families, employees of the government’s “Hotline 144” Center, quarantined citizens and our distinguished doctors.
