Police Detect 153 New Violations of State of Emergency
153 new violations of the state of emergency were detected in the last 24 hours as a result of the monitoring carried out by law enforcers throughout the country.
106 citizens were fined for violating curfew countrywide last night.
Police have detected 3 new facts of self-isolation violations.
Law enforcers also fined 7 people for transporting passengers and violating the traffic rules.
In addition, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs fined a total of 37 citizens for gathering more than 3 people in a public space and for not observing the 2-meter social distance.
"The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to call on citizens to adhere to the restrictions imposed within the state of emergency, otherwise appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with the law.
"All persons on the territory of Georgia are obliged to observe the state of emergency and to comply with the requirements of the legislation of Georgia in the field of public health.
"Violation of the state of emergency leads to administrative liability: individuals are fined GEL 3,000 and legal entities GEL 15,000," reads the information released by the MIA.
