Wizz Air Not to Raise Prices
Hungarian airlines Wizz Air says it is not planning on increasing the prices of tickets after renewing flights, though the airline expects a minimal number of travelers when it first reopens. The first passengers will be the ones flying for emergency reasons – going back home or to work, the company notes.
“We are in talks with the Georgian government to renew flights in Georgia as soon as possible. Having Georgia open its air borders is not enough for this. We are waiting for directives from the countries that welcome flights from Kutaisi airport. Not until we have these guidelines, not until Georgia allows foreign citizens into the country, can we renew flights,” said Andras Rado, the Head of Wizz Air Corporative communications.
Rado highlighted that the company is not forgetting the principle of Wizz Air – offering quality services at affordable prices. With this, he shared that the airlines is not looking to increase its prices.
“Our prices will be as attractive and affordable as ever! We will for sure keep the low prices and high quality!” Wizz Air corporative communications’ head told Business Formula.
Starting from July 1, the Georgian government is planning to open the air borders of the country.
