COVID-19: Georgia Reports 1 New Case, 32 Recoveries

In the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases in Georgia has increased by 1, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 639.

"The one new infected patient is from a quarantine space, however, at this stage, I can't name exactly from which cluster the infected person came," said Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital. 

32 more patients have recovered, taking the total number of recoveries to 349.

4769 people are in a 14-day mandatory quarantine and 414 are under observation in hospitals. 11 people have died of the virus in the country.

Currently, there are 279 active cases in Georgia.
