Coronavirus: Georgia Reports 6 New Cases, 7 Recoveries

In the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases in Georgia has increased by 6, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 701.

Marina Ezugbaia, the Medical Director of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, said that 3 newly infected people are from Bolnisi district and 3 patients have been in contact with infected person in Zugdidi. 

The number of recovered patients has increased by 6 and reached 432.

3890 people are in a 14-day mandatory quarantine and 357 are under observation in hospitals.

12 people have died of the virus in the country.

Currently, there are 257 active cases in Georgia.
