Occupation Forces Erect More Barriers Near Occupied Abkhazia
The occupation forces carried out illegal borderization, replacing old barbed wire and installing additional illegal barriers, near the villages of Khurchi and Ganmukhuri in Zugdidi municipality, in the direction of occupied Abkhazia, the State Security Service of Georgia reported.
The Agency noted the European Union Monitoring Mission has been informed about the above.
"The so-called illegal borderization damages the security environment on the ground and complicates the daily lives of locals," the SSSG said.
A few days ago, Russian-controlled occupation forces erected illegal installations in parts of the villages of Saberio and Pakhulani on the occupied territory.
Earlier in April, representatives of the Russian occupation forces resumed the process of illegal borderization near the village of Takhtisdziri close to the occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region.
